SPOT therapys is looking for a Part time Rehab Tech to assist our therapy department at our new Pediatric outpatient location. Someone with a CNA license and geriatric experience preferred. Hours would be Monday to Thursday 2-7 and fridays 2-5.
Job Function Summary
The Rehabilitation Tech will perform supportive services to the Rehabilitation Department under the direction of the Rehab Director.
Essential Functions
- Transports patients as directed.
- Assists therapists with treatment.
- Coordinates scheduling with the therapy staff.
- Prepares patients, treatment areas, equipment and supplies for treatment.
- Maintains awareness of change in patient census and programs.
- Follows established procedures pertaining to the care of equipment and supplies including completion of cleaning logs.
- Ensures that adequate office supplies and supplies for treatments are maintained.
- Completing forms and records, making copies, filing forms, obtaining necessary signatures and maintaining orderly and accurate patient records including completion of Triplecheck forms.
- Assists with patient and or staff schedule on a daily basis.
- Runs and analyzes reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to assist in department operations, compliance, and patient management procedures and communicates information to appropriate individuals.
- Reports to work as scheduled.
Additional Job Functions
- Answer Phones and handle customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- Must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year health care experience preferred.
- A minimum of one year office experience preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Must be proficient with basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills in order to effectively maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
Requires creativity as well as the ability to work independently.
